Plumage:The body is an olive green, the vent area is red, the tail is a reddish-brown with a medium blue tip.

Beak and eyes: The beak is black, iris is yellow with an inner ring of gray

Soft parts: The skin around the lower beak blushes a deep pink when excited. The feet are gray.

Origin: found in central Mexico, Colombia, and in northern-central part of Ecuador
